We're Home!!

We got home from our honeymoon yesterday. We had a great time and got to relax a bit. But...let me start from the beginning!

The wedding was great! We had such a great time!! Here are a few photos that got uploaded to the photo sharing website we set up. If you have any other photos, here are instructions to upload them to the site. You can just look at more here. The password is wedding.

We stayed in a wonderful bed and breakfast, The Venetian Mansion, here in Macon on our wedding night. It was great. I would highly recommend it. The owners were so sweet and the breakfast was yummy!

The next night we stayed at the The Glenn in Atlanta. It was nice, but we weren't super impressed with it. The other places we stayed were comparable in price and much nicer. We did have a great view out of our window.

We then went up to Cloudland Canyon State Park. The original plan was to camp for 3 nights but it was FREEZING (literally) and we slept in long johns the first night. The next morning, at 10:30, it was 24 with the windchill. What the hell kind of honeymoon is spent in long johns? :) So, we got a cabin for the next two nights. It was beautiful. We will be going up there again sometime when it isn't so cold. We drove around explored the 2nd day.

On Thursday we moved on to Chattanooga. We went to Rock City, Ruby Falls, and the Incline Railway. It was really cool. Its amazing how nature does such beautiful things. We then checked in to The StoneFort Inn. It was awesome. The people were so nice. Breakfast was included and was really good. Again, highly recommended.

We went to the Aquarium on Friday and acted like kids. I love aquariums!! Friday night we had a fancy dinner then took a relaxing soak in our outside tub.

Saturday we got up and headed home. The trip was easy and didn't take long at all. We had such a great time and I saw a bunch of places I want to explore next time we go back. I'm not sure why we haven't gone before. I love Chattanooga.

Now, back to the same ol' life, just as Mrs. Jourdan now :)
